Program Overview

The goal of this module is to identify and rectify any hazards, leaks, or incorrect/improper safety procedures and warnings. If a leak is found, users will report and/or fix said leak in the proper method for its leak grade.

How to use each tool in the Toolbox: (open Wrist Menu > Toolbox to access)

• Laser Pointer — to interact with menus and objects, aim the laser pointer at the item and pull the trigger on the controller to select it.

• CGI Tool — to take a reading, aim the tool and pull the trigger on the controller.

• Plunger Bar — to place the probe and create bar holes, pull the trigger on the controller.

Evaluation 1

1. Select Weekly

2. Read Work Order

   1. Select Show Facility Location to find where the customer’s house is

   2. Customer’s address is #2113

3. Find Customer’s House and Speak to them about the Leak

4. Identify and report AOCs through Wrist Menu > Communication Menu

   1. Possible AOCs — Tilted Meter

   2. Report to Supervisor and Company Dispatch, Immediately

5. Investigate Outside of House for Leak Points

   1. Use CGI and Plunger Bar tools to locate leak (Wrist Menu > Tool Box)

      1. Find leak at highest concentration using CGI Tool

      2. Use Plunger Bar to zero out from leak in four directions

      3. Use Cones from Toolbox to mark leak

   2. This scenario has a Service Line leak on the left side of the customer’s front yard

6. Classify Leak Grade through Wrist Menu > Communication Menu

   1. Select Grade 2

   2. Report to Supervisor and Customer, Immediately
