How to screencast to a computer with Meta Quest devices.

Before Casting

• Ensure your phone, computer and headset are on the same Wi-Fi network.

  • If your Wi-Fi network supports dual band, make sure your devices are on the same frequency.

• Ensure the headset and device you're casting to are logged into the same Meta account.

• Ensure the headset's software is up to date.

Casting to a Computer

Important: Ensure that the VR headset and computer are on the same Wi-Fi network.

How to start casting:

1. On your computer, go to horizon.meta.com/casting and log in.

2. In your headset, press the Meta button on your right controller to open the universal menu.

3. Select the clock on the left-hand side of the universal menu to open the Quick Settings menu.

4. Select "Cast".

5. Select "Computer", then select "Next" to connect.

How to stop casting:

1. Press the Meta button on your right controller to open the universal menu.

2. Select the clock on the left-hand side of the universal menu to open the Quick Settings menu.

3. Select "Stop casting".
