To mirror your display from your Oculus Quest to your TV

  1. Purchase Chromecast device 3rd generation or newer and set up per the instructions that came with it or if you have a smart tv with built in casting.
  2. The Oculus Quest 1/ 2, TV, Chromecast, and your phone needs to be hooked up to the same WiFi and if you have 5G be sure to use that as well to increase speed and reduce latency.
  3. Once you have powered on the TV or Chromecast plugged into the TV you will need to pull up your phone and navigate to your Oculus App.
  4. In the top right corner you will need to click on the icon that looks like a headset with WiFi.
  5. Once you click the Cast icon you will then see the “This Phone” with an arrow which will show all the available devices to cast to.

  1. Once pressed you will see this list of devices you want to connect to. Select the device name of the TV

  1.  Once selected the screen will show selected device with a Green “Connected” under it with the blue “Start” available to select. Click start to begin casting from your device

  1. Pop back into the Oculus Quest headset and a confirmation prompt should appear asking you to “allow headset casting.”

This completes the instructions on casting.
