Purpose: The HubApp is a VR application that lets you access the PixoVR library in your headset as well as download and install without having to sideload from your computer. This document will show you all the features and functionality of the HubApp.

 

Home Screen

  • This is the main screen users will navigate from. Besides accessing the 4 other screens, you can see the current version of the HubApp that you’re using, the current date and time as well as sign out (not currently functional).
  • Navigating to Library or My Apps for the first time after launch will require the user to login.

 

Library

  • The Library displays the entire library that the current users organization has access to.
  • Here the user can queue content installations for access later in My Apps.
  • The Home button in the bottom left corner will take you back to Home.

 

My Apps

  • My Apps lets the user view all installed PixoVR content currently on the headset.
  • Here the user can launch installed content, as well as uninstall content from the headset.
  • If there is no content installed, the button provided will navigate the user to the Library.
  • The Home button in the bottom left corner will take you back to Home.

 

Settings

  • Nothing currently available in Settings.
  • The Home button in the bottom left corner will take you back to Home.

News

  • Nothing currently available in News.
  • The Home button in the bottom left corner will take you back to Home.

 

Installing Applications

  • Navigate to the Library screen.
  • In the Library, scroll to find your desired application and select it with the “Select” button on your controller. You will be presented with more information on the application and a Download button.

  • Select the download button and a Detail panel will appear on the right side of the main panel, showing the progress of the download and installation of the application.

  • Once you see “Installation Complete” and a selectable Close button in the Details panel, your application is installed and ready for you to launch or uninstall from My Apps.

 

Launching Applications

  • Navigate to the My App screen.
  • In My App, scroll to the left or right to find the application you want to launch and select it with the “Select” button on your controller. This will result in an Application Management panel showing up on the left of the main panel.

  • Select the Start button located at the bottom of the panel to launch the application.

 

Uninstalling Applications

  • Navigate to the My App screen.
  • In My App, scroll to the left or right to find the application you want to launch and select it with the “Select” button on your controller. This will result in an Application Management panel showing up on the left of the main panel.

  • Select the Uninstall button located at the top of the panel to prompt a secondary confirmation of uninstallation.

  • Select the Uninstall button a second time to uninstall the application.
  • If you do not confirm the Uninstall within 10 seconds, you will have to press the Uninstall button twice again to uninstall.
